The Stile Hotel renovation transformed all 13 floors of the historic United Artists Building in Downtown Los Angeles. Working for Aju Continuum in coordination with hotel operator Kasa, the project encompassed the complete renovation of 182 guest rooms, corridors, elevators, lobby, rooftop bar, pool, and the restoration of the building's historic exterior façade.Completed in just 18 weeks, the renovation required extensive planning and coordination to execute within a fully operational hotel environment. To minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations, construction was phased into four separate phases while crews worked on three floors simultaneously. This approach allowed the team to maintain an accelerated schedule and meet the owner's goal of reopening ahead of the FIFA World Cup.The project was delivered ahead of schedule and under budget. The renovation involved close collaboration with the interior design team and FF&E procurement team to faithfully execute the design vision while respecting the character and constraints of a historic high-rise building. Careful coordination of finishes, furnishings, logistics, and trade activities ensured a seamless integration of modern hospitality standards within the landmark structure. The Stile Hotel renovation demonstrates Riviera Construction Group's ability to deliver complex hospitality renovations on accelerated schedules while maintaining quality, budget, and operational requirements.
